Imaging USA is known for its unique educational opportunities and world-class expo, but there’s so much more to the conference! Attendees have the chance to network, create long-lasting memories, and celebrate the accomplishments of their PPA community.

Welcome and Closing Parties

Welcome Party: Sunday, January 22 @ 8pm EST
Closing Party: Tuesday, January 24 @ 7pm EST

The first and last days of Imaging USA 2023 will each feature a party, giving photographers the chance to connect with one another in a lighthearted, informal atmosphere. There will be food and drinks at both parties and unique photo ops! And what would a party be without a dance floor? Bring your dancing shoes and snap a photo with your friends to share on Insta!

PPA Award & Degree Ceremony

Monday, January 23 @ 5pm EST

Join us as we recognize our PPA Degree recipients, Imaging Excellence recipients, and PPA award recipients! Each year, we celebrate outstanding members of the PPA community with a ceremony dedicated to their accomplishments. These members have made significant contributions to our association or the industry as a whole, and the awards they receive reflect that. Don’t miss this unique celebration of our organization’s superstars and their accomplishments.

Grand Imaging Awards & World Photographic Cup Announcement

Monday, January 23 @ 7pm EST

Each year, PPA celebrates the fantastic photographic achievements of its members at an awards celebration and announces the winner of the Grand Imaging Award. This year we will have 13 categories with 10 finalists each! 130 category finalists will be announced followed by the overall winner of the Grand Imaging Award. Best images will also receive ample recognition during the awards ceremony. 

Top photographs will also appear in the Imaging Excellence Collection book (formerly known as the “Loan Collection”) published annually by Marathon Press. This ceremony closes with the announcement of the World Photographic Cup’s Finalists as well as the Best of Nations winners.
