Imaging USA is headed back to Nashville, Tennessee in 2026 from January 11-13. Beyond bringing you another conference packed with incredible education, networking opportunities, and fun events, Nashville has a lot to offer photographers.
If you’ve never been to Nashville or if you’re returning to the city, keep reading for some ideas of what to do on your trip! And while you’re here, make sure to get registered to attend the conference at our early bird rate.
Explore Nashville
It’s normal to have a packed conference schedule, there’s so much to do and only so much time! Make sure to leave some time to rest and explore your surroundings. Here are some ideas to keep you entertained in the city.
For the Outdoorsy Photographer
Radnor Lake State Park
Located just 30 minutes from the Gaylord Opryland, Radnor Lake State Park offers a huge 1,368 acres of wildlife viewing, hiking, and great sights to photograph.
Arrington Vineyards
If you love wine, this vineyard is the perfect place to visit. The 95 acre property includes 16 acres of vineyards, five tasting rooms, and beautiful views. They are open daily for wine tasting and bottle purchases.
The Parthenon
Have you dreamed of seeing the Parthenon in Greece? Well, you might not have to travel that far. This full-scale replica of the original Parthenon was built in 1897 and currently hosts tours and serves as Nashville’s art museum. This would be a great bookend to Imaging USA for the history buffs and architecture photographers.

Opry Mills Mall
Anything you’re looking for you can probably find here. The Opry Mills Mall has movies, dining options, and lots of shopping options. It’s located within 2 miles of the conference center too!
For the Music Lovers
The Grand Ole Opry
Named country music’s biggest stage, the Grand Ole Opry has the world’s longest running radio show (since 1925) that is held between two and five nights a week. If you’re looking for a fun way to spend your night, this is it!
Honkey Tonk Highway
This “highway” runs through downtown Nashville and offers live music from 10am to 3am. There’s no cover charge either! Bring some bills to tip the performers and get ready for an incredible night of music.
One of the world’s largest museums and research centers dedicated to the preservation and interpreting of American vernacular music. It’s one of the most-visited history museums in the US and explores the cultural importance and enduring beauty of the art form.
The Music City Walk of Fame is a tribute to all genres of music that have contributed to the world through song and has made a significant contribution to the music industry in connection to Music City.
