What’s New at Imaging USA 2025?

Imaging USA 2025 is just around the corner, and this year, we’re bringing even more exciting opportunities, events, and experiences to make your visit unforgettable. From hands-on learning to exclusive exhibits, here’s what you can look forward to:

 

More Photo Walks

This year, we’re introducing six interactive photo walks sponsored by Fujifilm, Nikon, and VSCO. These free, hands-on experiences allow you to practice your photography in real-world settings with a small group of fellow attendees. Bring your camera, get creative, and learn while having fun. Photo walks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so keep an eye on your inbox for applications opening in mid-January!

 

PPA Theater

New to Imaging USA, the PPA Theater is your destination for inspiration and education. Located in the Longhorn Marble Foyer, this cozy space features documentaries from renowned photographers and exclusive educational content from PPA Education. Sit back, relax, and let the creativity flow.

 

Podcasting Super Show

This year, we’re introducing a dedicated podcasting area at the Gaylord Texan. Pat Miller, host of the Professional Photographer Podcast, will be interviewing guests live throughout the event. Podcasters can also book this space to record their own podcasts. 

Join Pat Miller and guests on Tuesday at 4pm for a live taping of the Professional Photographer podcast! The Podcast Super Show will be located in the Texas Ballroom A, Convention Center, Level 3, and will feature three expert photographers along with PPA CEO David Trust, all refelcting on the most impactful takeaways from this year's show. 
Connect with your new favorite photographers after the show at a special networking session. 
 

 

Award & Degree Ceremony

Returning to its Tuesday evening slot, the Award & Degree Ceremony celebrates the incredible achievements of your peers. Dress up and cheer your photography peers on at this uplifting event, from 5-6:30pm, located in the Tate Ballroom, Vineyard Tower, Level 2.

If you can't make it to the ceremony, you can also stream it online!

Stick around afterward for the epic Closing Night Party to end the conference on a high note!

 

Themed Welcome Party

Get ready to party in style at this year’s Rhinestone Cowboy-themed Welcome Party. Dust off your boots and bring your festive wear for an evening of food, drinks, dancing, and fun. There will also be This is one party you won’t want to miss!

 

Dan Winters Exhibit

Explore the captivating work of world-renowned photographer Dan Winters in an exclusive exhibit located in the Expo. Winters will also be a guest judge at the International Photographic Competition (IPC), where you can witness his expertise firsthand.

 

Live IPC Audience Voting

For the first time, the International Photographic Competition introduces a live audience participation component in the Monday night Finale. Cast your votes for the best images using your smartphone and see how your picks stack up against the official judges’ decisions. It’s an engaging way to be part of the action!

 

Exciting Expo Highlights

The Imaging USA Expo floor will feature over 130 exhibitors, including exciting new additions showcasing the latest gear, software, and services tailored to photographers.
