Working with musicians presents unique posing and lighting challenges. In addition to our subject, instruments of various shapes and sizes are added to our frame, making it much more challenging to find the right shapes and poses. How we pose a guitar, clarinet, double bass, tuba, or even a baton, can make or break the success of the image. In this program, I will show you my secrets to photographing musicians, while always keeping the artist, and not their medium, as the center of the image.
