Angie Birmingham, M.Photog.

Angie Birmingham is an award-winning photographer, educator, and author of “Journey Through the Lens”—and she’s got the boots, the stories, and the shutter speed to prove it.

Based in Texas but always chasing the light (and a good cup of coffee), Angie is the founder of Sharp Shooter Foto, a nonprofit that teaches free photography workshops to kids ages 10–18, and co-founder of Jeff and Angie Photography with her husband and favorite travel buddy, Jeff. From the whitetails of South Texas to the elephants of Sri Lanka, Angie’s lens has captured a lot of animals and landscapes.

When she’s not knee-deep in wildflowers or balancing on the back of a pickup for the perfect shot, she’s teaching hands-on workshops to both kids and grown-ups—making aperture, shutter speed, and ISO sound a whole lot less scary and a whole lot more fun.

With a Master of Photographer from the PPA and a diploma from the New York Institute of Photography, Angie brings both skill and southern charm to every class she teaches. Her goal? To help folks feel right at home behind the camera and leave inspired to see the world differently—one frame at a time.

Whether she’s sharing tips from the trail, tales from behind the lens, or her favorite gear tricks, Angie’s sessions are packed with practical advice, laughs, and the kind of can-do spirit that’ll have you itching to grab your camera and hit the trail.
