Eve Turek is an award-winning nature photographer and author living on the Outer Banks of NC, where she also owns two galleries. Her writing and photography careers have overlapped for more than 40 years, with early positions as a journalist and as public information officer for local government. For the past 15 years, the gallery she owns has showcased local and American art and craft as well as her own photography. She is also an essayist concentrating on the natural world and the emotional and the spiritual lessons nature offers. She conducts workshops and offers keynote presentations and retreats on nature photography, creativity, and the intersection of photography, creativity, and spiritual practice. Her photographs are in corporate and private collections throughout the United States; a selection of her work is licensed through Artography, Ltd. In 2014, her photograph Meditation won the Gold Medal for landscape in the World Photographic Cup.
