I have been a PPA Member since 1978. As a professional photographer since March of 1981, I became very involved with my local photography group in Memphis and the Tennessee state association. The relationships there changed my life and have continued to this day. I was asked to start speaking at an early age because of my knack for doing location portraiture. I got very involved with print competition and that seemed to spread my name around. I have done over 400 workshops (not all PPA affiliated) and have taught overseas 30 times. Monica Sigmon and I have been together since 2005. We have a boutique studio in Williamsburg, VA. We specialize in wall portraiture of families and commercial photography. With commercial photography, we primarily work with healthcare. Monica Sigmon is a graduate of William & Mary College and started Monica Sigmon Photography in the year 2000.
