Myron Fields is a photographer based in the Washington, DC area with a passion for storytelling. While his current artistic niche is photography, Myron’s love for arts and creativity started with his long-standing relationship with music. After 20 years of playing piano, Myron developed a unique love for arts, creativity, and people that became a huge part of his life.
Within those 20 years, Myron held many positions in business, from operations to project management. In 2019, Myron transitioned from hobbyist to full-time photographer as his clientele and desire to follow passions instead of paychecks increased. As Myron built clientele through his business, MFields Photography, he realized that his background in music and arts matched with his love for people gave him a unique perspective behind the lens. Not only did this make him a competitive photographer in the marketplace, but an irreplaceable asset to his clients. For Myron, photography isn’t just about taking pictures, it’s about giving people a voice through imagery.
Today, Myron is known to be a multicultural visionary whose style can be described as photojournalistic meets fine arts and fashion. Specializing in wedding photography, engagements, and portraiture, Myron has helped tell the stories of people from various cultures, races, and religions.
Myron has been recognized for his work in places like Munaluchi Bridal Magazine and The Knot. He plans to continue creating experiences for people that uplift and inspire through the power of photography.
