Saray Taylor-Roman is a Master portrait photographer with The Portrait Masters. She is one of fourteen portrait masters worldwide who have earned Fellow status. Saray is the only Fellow awarded over 50 silver awards, of which 48% are portraits of dancers. Saray is not a dancer yet she believes that as long as you have a unique perspective and a vision, you too can create award-winning images of your dance clients. Saray is also working toward her Craftsman’s Degree with PPA. She is a speaker and judge at WPPI 2022 in Las Vegas. There she is speaking about personal branding and strategies for a 25K month. Saray is a mentor with The Portrait System powered by Sue Bryce and she has been supporting and teaching at Sue Bryce workshops and folio builds around the globe since 2018.
Saray, her husband Daniel, and their daughter Sophia call Knoxville, TN home. She is speaking at PPETN in Knoxville and Nashville in March 2022, as well as in FWPPA in April 2022 about Creative Dancer Portraits: How to style, light, and pose dancers for high sales.
Saray is a former 7-12 educator, and she loves to take what her previous career taught her to create presentations that are engaging, meaningful, and full of actionable steps. Saray is also fluent in Spanish. She is a first-generation immigrant from Mexico and can share any of the topics outlined in this application in both English and Spanish.
