Susan holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Columbia University. She left a six-figure corporate job to start shooting boudoir out of her living room almost 15 years ago. Since then she's owned and operated Long Island Boudoir Photography® - the premier boudoir studio in her area.

"I wanted to help women feel more comfortable in their own skin—which was something I myself struggled so very much to achieve. Since then, it’s been an amazing wild ride!"

Her very first fine art project was published in NUDE—a BW Fine Art Magazine owned by Hugh Hefner’s ex—Carrie Leigh. Then a happy client paved the way for a feature article in Newsday about the "new thing" called boudoir on Long Island—her pin-up image graced the entire cover of the Sunday Lifestyle section. Soon after that she acquired a publishing deal for a book about the transformative effects of boudoir done right—it’s called Body & Soul.

Susan has been featured in Professional Photographer Magazine. She has spoken on the PPA main stage before hundreds of photographers, and for AIBP (the Association of International Boudoir Photographers). She has also created and delivered workshops on her federally registered methodology which she calls Transformation Photography® - a pathway to empowering women with boudoir.
