Description

What separates a technically good portrait from one that truly holds the viewer's attention? In this live demonstration, Sophia Barrett explores how lighting, posing, composition, and creative direction work together to shape the story of a portrait. Through practical demonstrations, she will show how subtle changes in light, body language, perspective, and direction can dramatically change the way an image looks and feels. Attendees will learn to move beyond simply executing a lighting setup or pose and begin making more intentional creative decisions that strengthen their imagery, direct the viewer's eye, and create portraits with greater impact.
