Andrew Hiorth

Andrew Hiorth is the Founder and Creative Director of FABLE Studios in Toronto, Ontario, a multi-million dollar luxury boudoir studio serving more than 1,500 women annually from a single location, with a team of over 20.
He did not start there. Andrew left a corporate Human Resources career in 2012 to build a wedding studio, grew it to 100+ weddings a year, and then watched COVID erase it. He rebuilt in boudoir and ran the entire operation alone in year one, writing the ads, taking the booking calls, photographing the sessions, and closing the sales, finishing at $750,000. Then he built the team and the systems that took it past $3 million.
The reason he teaches is what happened next. A stage 2 cancer diagnosis took Andrew out of the business for months, and FABLE kept running without him. That is the outcome he now helps other studio owners build toward: a repeatable, sustainable, profitable business that can operate independently of its owner.
Andrew is a two-time PPA Diamond Award winner at the International Photographic Competition and is pursuing his PPA Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees. He holds a Grand Master’s degree from Master Photographers International, is ICON’s Canadian Photographer of the Year, and has earned three top-ten finishes at the World Photographic Cup, including sixth in the world.
He is not there to teach photography. He is there to teach photographers how to build the business behind it.
