Rodney Getz is an award-winning high-volume photographer based in South Charleston, Ohio. Alongside his wife, Shiloh, he co-owns Champion City Photography, a thriving high-volume photography business, for over 17 years.
Rodney is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), has served on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers of Ohio, and is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP). He earned degrees from Clark State College and Wright State University.
Shiloh earned her degree from Kettering College of Medical Arts and has worked as a CT (Cat Scan) technologist for more than 21 years. Her passion for workflow optimization has helped streamline operations at Champion City Photography, creating efficient systems that support the company's continued success.
With a background in education, Rodney has always been passionate about teaching. Today, he combines that passion with his experience in the photography industry by educating photographers across the country. Together, Rodney and Shiloh have presented at numerous industry conferences and events, including SPAC, SYNC, SYNC Sports, PSU, MVP, Ohio Photo U, Summer Snap, Inspire Pennsylvania, and many others.
Before pursuing photography full-time, Rodney served as a firefighter/paramedic for 22 years. During his public safety career, he was also a Certified Fire Instructor, teaching at the Ohio Fire Academy and Clark State College.
Rodney and Shiloh have been married for over 17 years and are the proud parents of three daughters. Together, they are passionate about helping photographers build more efficient, profitable businesses while continuing to grow their own successful studio.
